Directions
Japanese Crispy Chicken Cutlet (Chicken Katsu) Serves 4:
1. Combine 1 beaten egg and 50mL milk in a bowl.
2. Coat 480g chicken fillets in order of 50g flour, egg and milk mixture and 150g Obento Panko Breadcrumbs.
3. Deep fry crumbed chicken in 180 degree Celsius hot oil until golden and chicken is fully cooked. Place on kitchen paper or resting rack to absorb excess oil.
4. Cut the chicken cutlets into 1cm strips. Serve on a bed of 8 cabbage leaves with a side of dipping sauce.
