Storage instructions

Store in cool dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.

Directions

Cooking sushi rice -
1. Rinse with cold water 2 to 3 times or until the water turns clear. Drain away the water.
2. Bring 600mL water and rinsed rice in a non-stick saucepan to the boil.
3. Reduce to medium heat and let the rice cook for 15 minutes until the water is fully absorbed by the rice.
4. Place lid on the saucepan and let the rice to simmer for 10-12 minutes.
5. Turn off heat and leave to stand for 5-10 minutes.
Prepare sushi rice:
1. In a large bowl, evenly sprinkle sushi seasoning powder over hot rice.
2. Stir through rice using a paddle or flat blade knife to separate and cool rice.
3. Divide rice into 6 even portions.
To Prepare Sushi -
1. Cover the bamboo rolling mat with cling wrap; place 1 sheet of nori seaweed, shiny side down on the covered surface of the bamboo mat. Moisten hands with water and take a handful of cooled prepared sushi rice.
2. Spread the rice evenly over the surface of the nori, to within 1 cm
