Step 1. Carry out an allergy test 48 hours before colouring. Step 2. Do a strand test to determine optimal timing and results. Perms, relaxers, and previous colour can affect your results. Step 3. With both hands, squeeze the entire contents of the tube (#1) completely into the bottle (#2). Close the applicator bottle and shake. Step 3. A. All Over Application: Part your hair into 4 sections and start at the darkest part of your hair (usually the back). Make 1/2-inch parts and apply the lightening mixture to the hair, keeping mixture 1 inch away from scalp. Gently smooth the mixture through to the hair ends but avoid the root area. Apply on all sections and make sure to leave 1/3 of the lightening mixture to complete the application in the root area.
