Tagine Meal Base, a 200g base from the Moroccan brand, combines tomatoes, onion, garlic, lime juice, water, cardamom, chilli, turmeric, cinnamon, chickpea flour, corn starch, xanthan gum, salt, colour (curcumin) and spices. No allergens are declared. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and refrigerate once opened and use within 3 days.

Tomatoes, Vegetables (Onion, Garlic), Lime Juice, Water, Cardamom, Chilli, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Chickpea Flour, Corn Starch, Xanthan Gum, Salt, Natural Colour (Curcumin), Spices.

Storage instructions
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigerate after opening and use within 3 days.
Directions
1. Fry the Moroccan recipe base with 2 tbsp oil or ghee in a medium saucepan or tajine for 2–3 minutes. Add chilli if desired.
2. Add a can of chickpeas (including liquid), then diced vegetables.
3. Bring to the boil, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until cooked. Season to taste. (Optional: add the juice of half a lemon.)
Serve with couscous, salad, and natural yoghurt.
Garnish with pitted olives and parsley for extra flavour.
