Description

Steggles frozen chicken dino snacks come in a 1kg pack. Chicken (52%) is coated in a tempura coating (26%) made from wheat flour, maize flour, wheat starch and dextrose, with soy protein and dehydrated onion and garlic. Contains gluten, soy and wheat. May contain egg. Cook from frozen without thawing, and cook fully before eating as the product is raw. Store at or below -18C.

Directions

Do not thaw, always cook from frozen. This product is raw, and must be fully cooked before consuming. Serve Dino snacks with our Home Made Tomato sauce. Ingredients 2 tsps olive oil 1 onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 Tbsp tomato paste 400g ripe tomatoes, chopped 2 tsps sugar Salt and pepper to season Method 1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add onions and garlic, stir until softened. 2. Lower heat to medium and stir through the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add the tomatoes, stir well and cook for 5-8 minutes until tomatoes are softened, stirring occasionally. 3. Remove the heat, stir in sugar. Set aside to cool. When tomato mixture has cooled, use a stick mixer to blend the sauce to desired texture. Blend more for a smoother sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
